Our Story — Why Matt Built Foundry
Built For Those Who Build.
Foundry Watch Co. was founded by Matt, whose work in telecoms brings him into contact with construction businesses and the people responsible for keeping projects moving.
A connection to the work
Construction, engineering, telecoms and infrastructure shape the world we use every day. Behind every completed project are people making decisions, solving problems and taking responsibility for the result.
Foundry was created to give that world a watch brand of its own. Its identity comes from the people behind the build: their practical mindset, their pride in the work and the industries they belong to.
Why the Foreman 45 looks this way
Matt’s connection to construction businesses gives Foundry its starting point: the people behind the build and the pride they take in their work. The Foreman 45 carries that identity through its shape, surfaces and colour.

Industrial character
The angular 45mm steel case and visible bezel screws give the watch a strong industrial presence. Brushed surfaces and polished edges bring contrast to that geometry, while the black silicone strap keeps the overall look direct.
A recognisable Foundry signature
The orange F and matching seconds hand stand out against the black dial. They carry the brand’s identity onto the wrist, balanced by silver-tone hands and hour markers.
A connection to the people behind the work
Foundry exists for the people building homes, roads, networks and infrastructure. The Foreman 45 is a way to carry that connection from site to office to weekend. “Built For Those Who Build” expresses who the brand is here to represent.

The first chapter: 50 pieces
The Foreman 45 Founding Edition is Foundry’s first production watch. The original run is limited to 50 pieces, marking the beginning of Foundry Watch Co.
For its first owners, it is an opportunity to be part of the brand from the start. Once this run is gone, the Founding Edition is gone with it.
Wear The Work.
